Here's a new form of entertainment that you probably wouldn't have thought of.  You're used to watching sitcoms on TV right.  Are you ready to watcgh sitcoms on the internet.  There are actually quite a few out there.  Here's one for you to check out:

180techtips.com does not endorse this internet show but this is an interesting example of how the internet can be used.  The episodes can be watched whenever you want and in whatever order you want.  You can even fast forward or rewind through them to search for specific details.  There's also a game you can play, interactive phone messages you can leave and of course a specific advertiser websites for you to check out.

Educators at all levels could probably imagine using this same technology to create online lessons/lectures and activities that students could log onto and view at any time.  Imagine the possibilities.  The technology to do this is available right now as evidenced by this online sitcom.

PRACTICE ACTIVITY:  Check out an episode of  "Mr. Robinson's Driving School" when you get a chance.  Take note of the ease of navigation and quality of the video.
