    2.2 PowerPoint - Peer Evaluations
For their second show students work in groups of 4 to create an 8-10 slide show about the history of computers (directions here).  This show also has to demonstrate good design principles and the presenters are evaluated by their peers using an online survey.  As you can see on the survey, presentations are evaluated on Slide Layout, Presentation Skills and the Accuracy of the Information.  Rather than just being passive audience members, students have to correctly identify the good and bad aspects of their peers' work.  After presenting students can see graphs that evaluate their performance immediately.

In this second and final show students should be demonstrating the following skills:

Using network drives Using pictures/graphics Internet Research
Basic Presentation Skills Slide layouts Font size & color
Bullet & number lists Hyperlinks Adding animated gifs
Slide transitions Works Cited Format Slide navigation
Combining Slide Shows Group Work Showing a Slide Show
