Technology Tip Number 177
Ah! Where's the Menu Bar?

Have you ever have your web browser menu bar suddenly go from this:
Top menus

to this:
No menus

Don't panic this can easily be fixed.  You can toggle back and forth between these two views using the F11 key on the top of your keyboard.  Give it a try right now.

Here's a few more shortcuts to try in Internet Explorer:

F6 takes you to the address bar
The space bar can be used to move you down a webpage
CTRL + the Mouse Roller can be used to increase or
decrease the font size

Many of these shortcuts will work in other internet browsers.  To learn more about different internet browsers check out Technology Tip #84, Browsing the Web with a Browser.

PRACTICE ACTIVITY:  Try some of these shortcut keys in Internet Explorer today.
